  • I agree you should get an appointment in the career counseling center at a local school and get advice. But you can also go to sites like indeed.com and career builder.com and look at job ads for the field you are intereested in. The qualifications they are looking for will be listed. Then you need to find those programs in local schools. GL

  • It depends on the type of therapist . Your best bet in this is to call or make an appointment to talk to a counselor of a near by college. That person should be able to give you specifics in what you will need to take and/ or major in or do you masters and doctorate in.

  • MA IN COUNSELING OR MAFT DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND PLUS A LPC (LICENSE TO PRACTICE) I HAVE MY BA IN PSYCH AND I PERSONALLY AM GONNA DO THE MA IN SOCIAL WORK... THE THERAPIST IS HARD TO LAND UNLESS YOU ARE STABLE IN A PLACE WITHOUT MOVING AND WANT YOUR OWN BUISNESS... UNLESS YOU GET A DOC. ((SORRY FOR ALL CAPS))--> SO NOT YELLING ;)
