  • Ummm...the Middle East IS NOT a continent. It's an AREA comprised of portions of Asia, Europe, and Africa.

  • its in Africa, but politically its involved w/ Middle Eastern countries. Egypt borders Israel & Saudi Arabia which are Middle Eastern countries so a lot of Egypt's disputes are with these 2 countries...which probably leads to the confusion. also, Egyptians look more Arabic than African (as many do in North Africa) which probably adds more the confusion.
