Where is agood place to find breast feeding classes?

I'm expecting my fist baby this fall and I'm going to breast feed. I'm wanting to take a class to learn more about but I'm not sure where to look...any advice?

  • The hospital where you will deliver should offer them. Call and ask or ask your OB.

  • The hospital usually offers a lactation consultant.. you could call your L&D

  • I took one through WIC. Also check with the clinic you go to...they may offer classes. I took childbirth classes and child care classes through my doctors office. And, the hospital should offer them :) Good luck!!

  • WIC has one, and I know the hospital I go to has a lactation consultant that will meet with you can give you any information that you need. I would check to see if yours offers the same.

  • Call the hospital where u plan on giving birth, and they should be able to give u some info! Usually the hospital itself will offer classes!
