  • My mom used cloth with me and my 2 sibs and my sister uses them now with her 7 months old daughter. Yes it is much cheaper, you also have less trash and don't need a diaper genie. And unless you don't wash them you always have diapers there. Depending on the style of diaper you can also use them as burp cloths and once the baby is done with them they make excellent rags for cleaning. And they are so much better for the environment.

  • When you run out of money, you don't have to wait to get paid before you can buy disposable diapers. When the baby no longer wears diapers, cloth diapers make THE BEST towels.

  • Better for the earth. Yes, you use extra water and electricity, but that is far less damaging than 2500 plastic diapers sitting in a landfill.

cloth babies tend to have less rashes

  • The pros for me:
    I don't run out.
    They get fewer rashes
They wash faster than it takes me to go to the store to buy disposables
    They cost less
    They use fewer resources
    They are stinking CUTE!
