If I am over 40 and completing a FaFsa form....

On section 4 where it asks information on your parents and I did answer yes to some of the questions on section 3...do I really need to complete that information on my parents?

  • No, go back and correct it BEFORE you submit it. After you turn 24 or are married or a single parent under 24, you don't give parents information.
