Am I the only one who does this?

I pick out the white fatty pieces out of my smoked sausage or polish sausage before cooking it. It just looks so gross, I also pick out any super hard pieces, that could be bone or grizzle. Does anyone else do this or am I the only one?!

I've done this with slices of salami also.

  • I dont eat sausage. It gives me heartburn. But my hubby does, and Ive never seen him do that...dunno if its weird or not. LOL

  • We only eat turkey sausage or kielbasa and it doesn't have those nasty bits of fat in it.

  • Don't eat it! I will occasionally buy turkey sausage to make with red beans. But, nope. Won't eat it or hotdogs except for Hebrew Nation hotdogs. Lol. I'm just getting pickier in my old age.

  • I don't eat that stuff, kind of because of the lumps of fat. Gross. And I'm only saying this because my MIL says "grizzle" too - it's gristle ;)
