  • I don't have a recipe for it, BUT Act II, sold at walmart, has awesome 'make in the microwave' caramel popcorn.

  • this is the recipe I use it is sooo good!


    1 cup butter

    2 cups brown sugar

    1/2 cup corn syrup

    1 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    5 quarts popped popcorn

    DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Put pop corn in a bowl (no seeds). In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Pour in a thin stream over popcorn, stirring to coat. Place in two large shallow baking dishes and bake in preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, for an hour . Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

  • Caramel Corn
    2 sticks BUTTER
    1/2 teaspoon CREAM OF TARTAR
    1/2 teaspoon BAKING SODA
    20 cups of fresh popped POPCORN
    I use Orville 's
    2/3 cup of popcorn to 2 TABLESP oil. this makes about 10 cups
    so make 2 batches.

    Oven at 250* F. On stove top MED heat & stir constantly for 8-10 minutes, (do not boil) :
    Melt butter, add brown sugar, corn syrup, cream of tartar. Remove from heat, add baking soda
    stir. Mix will change color, and bubble up higher in the pan.

    Alternating some Popcorn & caramel inlg roaster sized disposable foil pan . Add Caramel mixture a bit at a time stiring well after popcorn added... Bake 250* F. for 1 hour Stir every 10 minutes. Remove from oven, cool completely, stir to break into pieces. Store in ZIP LOCK BAGS HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!
