How can I get my 5 year old to learn the rest of her ABC's. She knows half of them.

  • sing the song and point out letters any chance you get. that's how DD learned hers.

  • That's how my son learned by my singing the song he learned them in one day and he was also 5 try singing them most kids learn things faster in songs

  • My aunt bought leapfrog house where it sings them the letters and sounds they make. My daughter is three and has known her abc's by sight for almost a year now. between that toy and Moose A moose, she learned her letters shapes and colors, because I really didn't do much to teach them to her.

  • Leap Frog products are great for helping to teach kids the letters. They repeat the sound as well as the letter. And as the others said, sing it, sing it, sing it!
