  • Oh boy! I had one of those:) My mother in law (who is old fashioned anyway) gave my son about a half ounce of prune juice to 3.5 ounces water. He loved it and it worked. It didn't harm him in anyway either. Good Luck:)

  • Prune juice does work but be careful. The first time my son had it there was no delay it just went straight through him and out his diaper down his legs! Also you can try moving her legs in a bicycle motion to get her stomach muscles working and that helps too.

  • My doctor suggested brown sugar water. 1 tsp to 2 oz water. It worked well.

  • I found they poop when they are ready. We sometimes worry about counting their poops, but it will come.

  • Your baby won't necessarily poop every day at that age.... unless she is straining or crying, let her be. Formula or breastmilk, and maybe pumping her legs a little, should do the trick.

  • When my kids were infants, my mom gave them lukewarm water w/ a little karo syrup mixed with it.
