  • Food and hospitality. He makes half of what I make and has to have 2 jobs to keep up with me. He makes 8.50 at one job and 9.00 at the other plus tips. He works 60 to 70 hours a week. If he had only one job, he would make significantly less than I do.

  • My husband is a mud engineer in the oil field. He makes a little over $100,000 per year by doing local jobs only. He could make more if he took the out of state ones but I make good money too so we don't care about the extra income. He only works a couple hours a day but he works basically everyday.

  • My husband is in the Air Force, he's security forces and a Ssgt. it doesn't matter how much overtime he puts in because pay goes by rank. but he makes about 25,000 a year but we get housing allowance so we dont have to worry about rent

  • He's a union Bricklayer and the local rate is over $24/hr. It's good pay, but when it's cold/snowy, there's not much work.

  • My husband is a state licensed electrician, but he currently works for a large industrial company. He keeps the machines running electrically. He makes good money. I will leave it at that.
