What happens if you stop paying your cell phone bill, and it gets shut off?

We're more behind than I had thought and our cell phones have been shut off, can I continue to not pay and just say screw it? And never pay it?

  • well, for one you bviously wont have a phone anymore until you pay it....it also hurts your credit quite a bit and good luck getting another cell phone without a deposit of up to $750, which is probably where yours will be (i do cell contracts at work)...plus the collections people will stalk you...i would definately atleast try to continue to make payments if you ever want to get a loan in you life

  • If you dont pay it, it will go to a collection agency and they will just harrass you...but you wont ever be able to get another cell phone with a contract without having to pay a $500 deposit...you could always buy a pre pay
