What's wrong...He won't get better!

I'm calling my baby's doctor as we speak. He woke up Monday morning at midnight with a runny/stuffed nose. He's still like that Thursday morning. He felt warm, his nose is horrible, his face and eyes are red, and he cries constantly. Its not his usual cry if you know what I mean. This is bothering me. Do you think its a cold or what?

  • Yes, it sounds like a nasty cold. My 11 month old is normally a very happy baby who doesn't cry. He's had a nasty cold for about almost two weeks. He screams uncontrollably when it's time for bed because he's very needy. We've been using saline to keep his nose clear and using a vaporizer and giving him extra TLC. But, he's been extremely (I mean EXTREMELY) cranky and fussy since he's been sick which is unusual for him too. Good luck.

  • My son had the same thing when he was 4 months but no crying he seemed perfectly normal, but his nose was red he had puffy eyes very bad runny nose. After a week he got better. I just gave him a bath no drafts make sure there is none at all, give him a nice warm botle, he might even be teething but if not give him baby Tylenol and keep him warm but no too warm. and just hold him or sing to him a loud shhhh usually works well. If it gets worse not any better take him to the er or the doctor so they can give him better medication.i hope he feels better.
