  • Try scallop corn, cheesy broccoli rice, sweet and sour carrots, creamed cabbage or peas, or any steamed veggies.

  • You can do broccoli casserole, just sub broccoli for green beans in the green bean casserole.

  • Ick, we do not like green bean casserole.
We prefer roasted veggies (potatoes, turnips, and carrots with fresh herbs).
Mashed hubbard squash, or even a butternut squash is good.
Baked sweet potatoes with a sweet sauce (Nannie makes that - has the recipe in her head and tells us the basics of it, but we can never get ours to taste like hers...lol).
    Crescent rolls
Homemade cranberry chutney (I found a lovely recipe online one year and it was fantastic!).
Stuffing made your own special way - add some saugage, or onions, or mushrooms, or whatever you'd like to make it uniquely your own.
