What do you think of this name for a girl?

My neice is due in February and she told me today that they like the name Aleighsha Morgan Young. And they are trying to spell it different ways to, like Aleesha or Alicia. What is your opinion????

  • i think Aleighsha is too much. Alicia looks liek you would pronounce it

    Ugh-Lee-See-ugh

    Aleesha seems fine.

  • I like the name, but knowing how bullies in school are:

Aleighsha looks like you could pronounce it:

"A lay sha" and she might get teased for it.

Just my opinion. Maybe see what Alicia/Alisha might mean in another country. That's cool, and would give more spelling options.

  • Even though I know how it's supposed to be pronounced, it makes me wanna say "Ah-Leeg-Sha" lol. But then name all together isn't bad.

  • I think the name sounds very pretty. However, I am one of those stiffs that likes traditional spellings on names. I have this firm belief that spelling a child's name different is not what's going to make them unique. It's what's inside.
