Fresh Fish Fillet Question

Hi, I recently bought my first fresh fish fellets in the store. LOL I have always been scared, but hubby is so busy with work he hasn't had time to go to the pier so I resorted to that. Anywhoo, the whiting fillets at Farm Fresh looked and smelled delish so I purchased two long thin fillets. My problem is, they are skin on. Hubby always skins the fish when he fillets them, but these are thin and I don't want to waste any fish. My question is, is whiting skin okay to eat? Is it just crisp if I broil it or will it be scaley?

  • It will be crisp. It has already been scaled if you bought it pre-filleted
