what seasonings do i put in homemade chicken broth??

  • I use lots of celery and onions, a couple carrots, and of course the chicken to start with. Later I add black and white pepper, salt, parsley. Sometimes a little thyme...and maybe a bay leaf. I don't add potatoes to soup I'll be putting noodles in..too much carbs for a diabetic like myself :)

  • That's all you need. I wouldn't add anything else except maybe onions. I like to use those chopped, dried onions. Lots of flavor, no tears! LOL
