My ds was trying to plug up the christmas tree and got shocked.
He cried for a min but is fine now. He has really been winnie today tho.

Was i expose to call the pedi or what?
how do i keep him from unpluging and pluging it up...w.o a gate

  • He's fine - no need to call the doc.

    Probably just getting shocked will keep him from doing it again. In the words of Jeff Foxworthy "oh, jes' let that kid pull the TV off the TV tray onto himself - he'll only do it once..."

  • He's probably whinny because of the scare. He also probably will not do it again but some kids are very determined. I'd suggest an outlet cover that lets you plug things in too:
    There are several kinds on the market and they keep kids from playing with the power cords.

  • They have those plug in wall plates where you have to turn the dill to plug in whatever it is you want to plug in. They are fairly cheap. My parents do foster care and have them in all the electrical outlets in the house. They are pretty nifty!
