It was given to us

do toaster ovens produce as much or less heat than the oven? we just got one and it is so hot we try not to use anything that will heat up the kitchen. i've never had one so i don't know.

  • I would think less, mainly because of the size. I used to love mine, used it constantly.

  • It uses less and is a great way to avoid heating the kitchen up. I used mine every summer instead of the oven to avoid heating the kitchen when I had one.
