  • The itch could be sensitivity to soap or detergent or other chemicals. Be sure to rinse and rinse the area when you get a shower, and if you take a bath, rinse and rinse with clear water afterwards. If your doctor checked it then it won't be lice. If nothing else works, try going to a dermatologist.

  • You are probably having a reaction to the discharge from the delivery. It is slightly different for your body to process it when you have a c-section. As for the hair falling out, this also happens all over after you give birth, not just on your head. Get a squirt bottle and fill it with warm water before you go to the bathroom and then squeeze it all over the area. This will rinse any excess Lochea out of the folds and should provide some relief. If this doesn't work, go back and ask your doc to check you for bacterial vaginosis. If she still doesn't seem to care, find a different doc.
