  • Do you think she's having a reaction to the pears or just has the stomach flu? My son was 4 1/2 months when he had the stomach flu (just 2 weeks ago) and I was so concerned. He couldn't hold down more than 2 ounces if even that. Unfortunately they won't do anythign but tell you to keep her hydrated. I would get some pedialyte, feed her 1 ounce at a time and increase as tolerated.

  • Not trying to scare you but just make that call, we had a family friend who lost their daughter who died suddenly on the 17Th and she was vomiting uncontrollaby and she was 10. Better to be safe than sorry.

  • Its a little early to be introducing solids. The digestive system isnt properly developed..on top of that putting cereal which is hard on your digestive system into a baby is going to affect her badly. And I am guessing you cooked the apples and pears?

    Just lay off the foods.

  • Great ANON...not to scare her.....but....someone died??

GREAT STORY ladie! TMI but whatever you have me freaked out and im not even the OP,

Listen OP...She is just trying to scare you but it can get serious...i dont know why she would say somthing like this like she had to tell someone her bizzness! Like a little girls death wouldnt scare someone more so a momma who has a sick baby

    TAKE her to the doctor...

  • shes doing better. made the call. shes just teething really bad. the thing with the pears was just too soon of an introduction. too much sugar. she wasnt dehydrated. she drinks about 2 ounces of pedialite/water a day so shes good. thanks for the concern
