Does anyone know how long and at what temperature you are supposed to bake Sculptey clay figurines?

  • If doing this in your kitchen oven, line a pan with paper or foil (but foil will make the bottoms shiny.) Heat the oven to 230 degrees and bake about 30-40 minutes per quarter inch. You'll want to heat the oven to 500 degrees after removing your pieces to "kill off" any chemicals from baking before cooking food in it.

I use a dedicated toaster oven for all polymer clay. Also watch white items as they may burn or scorch if left in for too long. If PC burns it will release toxic chem's.
