What does bump mean?

I see it on every post but I still don't get it. LOL.

  • When you "bump" a question, it gets highlighted so that it can be seen by more people for a longer period of time instead of being lost in themultitude of questions that come after it. It is also a way to get a good question more attention & answers.

  • It's actually an acronym "Bring Up My Post" - it's used to bring your post/question to the top of the forum/answers section :)
