Dark colored pee

My daughter has been having brownish colored pee today. She also had a little bit

of a stomach ache. She has no fever and no jaundice coloring and her bm is normal.

Has anyone ever had an issue like this? We have applied for state medical ins. as my husband lost his job, but it hasn't been processed yet.

  • I vote dehydration - increase her water intake for the next day or so.. her urine should be almost clear in a properly hydrated individual. Depending on her age, try to get her to drink a small glass (like a juice glass or a third of a coffee cup) of water every hour on the hour while she's awake. It should clear up by tomorrow night.
