  • The doctor has always told me to go by weight, and not so much by age. Call your pediatrician to ask what they think before giving it to your child.

  • Yes, call your ped. They'll tell you if it's safe and how much to give.

  • I'd give tylenol not motrin and my son was 2 months old when our doc gave us ours.

  • you can, i alternated tylenol and motrin when Cole was about 5 mos old. ofcourse he was like 19 lbs then too. just be advised, motrin is like every 6-8 hrs, tylenol is every 4-6. so keep that in mind when you are giving it to him. also, hylands teething tablets. instant dissolving only. get some and keep them handy. they will be your best friend for the next 6 months!!
