  • It is just a stage he is going through. I distract my daugther by teaching her to kiss and then I kiss her a lot and say kiss, kiss, kiss. Then when she goes bite me I say kiss, kiss, kiss and make a muah noise. Usally that works approx 85% of the time. We also give time outs. We set her in a certain spot and because she is 1 years old she has a one minute timeout. That is backup.
    Take Care and good luck.

  • I bite back. Not hard, but just enough to let him know that it hurts.

  • If you've tried the bite back method and that didn't work, doesn't mean that it won't for you. If it doesn't try flicking him in the lip when he does, or pulling his arm in the way so he bites him self.
