  • I use plastic. It's easier to sterilize.

  • Actually bamboo is stronger last longer and resits deep cuts from a knife. You should go with a plastic board for meats and poultry. They do not harbor bacteria like wood.

  • I use a glass cutting board. It doesn't get scratched and doesn't harbor smells or bacteria.
    I have always used a separate board for meats, though.
