Can anyone tell me how I stop getting leg cramps at night

I am pregnant again,
And I am takeing my pregnancy vitamins but I still am getting leg cramps that wake me and then my kids want to know why mommy is in such a bad mood.
What can I do to stop this pain at night.
I have even thought of rubbing pureed banana baby food on them at night.
What are some of your suggestions.

  • Use Ben Gay or some other muscle relaxer.

  • Take a bath in epsom salt, the magnisium will be absorbed in the skin and will help with the muscle cramps.

  • A glass of tonic water in the evening helps. It has quinine in it and that can be helpful.

  • Eat a banana before bed, Put a bar of regular dove soap int he bottom of your sheets ( swear it works, everyone in my family does it!!), keep hydrated!!

  • I was healthy ate all that stuff that was suppose to help but I got charly horses even after having my baby, so I never found anything

  • I got them too. They stopped when I self-medicated with a banana a day. You need to eat the banana, not rub it on your legs.
