  • Only if they are sick. My DS gets sick way more than DD. He has missed about 5 days last year. She only missed 2.

  • Only if they are sick. My dd missed 14 days last year due to the flu. I tried to bring her back before that but she was consistently sent home by the nurse. They are very strict at our school about illness.

  • DD missed 2 days all year, last year, only one because she was sick, and the other was a special trip with grandma. DS missed about 4 from being sick.

  • DD wears braces and her orthodontist is 2 hours away so at least once every 6 weeks, but with a medical excuse, they don't count it as an absence.
