Office attire when your the only female

I'm a real girly girl and I work for a company that is only men. Yes I am the only girl (office mgr) and sometimes I feel like I dress to girly for an office where I'm the only girl. I ususally wear dress pants heels and a top...The girl before me wore jeans to work everyday. I just don't feel comfortable with this.

  • Wear what you like, just don't dress slutty.

  • As long as your cloths are not reveling a lot of skin, or are not to tight. What you are wearing is fine.

  • I dress quite girly and am surrounded by men. Just don't let your boobs hang out or give any false ideas with your clothes. Maybe the office needs something nice!

  • I agree with the others, as long as your clothing doesn't attract inappropriate male attention, wear whatever you like. Some basic professional office wardrobe rules would be nothing too short, nothing too tight, nothing too low cut, no spaghetti straps/tube tops, no super low rider pants, etc.

  • I also agree with the others. The jeans the one before you wore seem too casual.

  • I agree. Wearing a knee length skirt is office appropriate. I was always told to not wear plunging neck lines, no cleavage out, no belly button ring showing or tattoos showing. If you got all that down in your giddup ur all good.

  • I don't agree with jeans to work in a professional business setting. Sounds like you are dressed just right!

  • wear what you feel comfortable in as long as you aren't showing too much cleavage to cause confusion then it should be OK
