  • I suppose that depends on your vices. =) I started Jenny Craig a few months back and for me it is mostly about portion control. I was shocked at how much meat I used to eat versus how much I should be eating. Also - cheese was a big one for me. I put cheese on everything. It turns out that I don't mind skipping the cheese on most things or replacing it with low fat part skin mozzarella. However, if you drink a lot of sodas, eat a lot of candy or drink a lot...those would be the first and most effective things to cut.

  • habit? rationalizing the irrational.

Most people talk themselves into eating those foods they crave/are addicted to - you need to break aware of your emotional eating/physical addictions to foods and awareness will help you prevent it.

Eating plenty of fruits and greens with also help with cravings.
