  • Yes, you could go into labor any day now. As the above poster said...lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Walking helps also. Good luck!

  • Most women average going into labor between 38 and 42 weeks - hence your estimated due date is smack in the middle of those weeks.

However, nothing you do will put you in labor before your body is ready, short of a medical induction. And these last few weeks are important for your baby's development and well-being when he/she finally makes her entrance into the world.

I know it's exhausting and you just want your sweet baby in your arms, but wait it out. Even if you go to 42 weeks, that's only 5 more weeks to wait. It's not that long when you think of how long you've been pregnant :)

  • Um, a "due date" can be up to 2 weeks off in either directions - your baby may only actually be 35 weeks. Either way, it's too early to try to self-induce - and the way your question is worded, it sounds like you're trying to self-induce. Just don't do it. Baby has plenty of time he/she needs to "cook" yet. 37 weeks may be "term" to some, but some babies born that soon still need the nicu. Let baby be, and keep growing - it could be 5 more more weeks before he/she is even ready to come out.

  • Just wait!! Be patient!! This must be ur first child huh? Everybody always suggest all these "remedies" for an early labor. They don't work then the woman is stressed. It causes more harm than good.
