QUESTION??? HELP

Ill be 32 weeks on Saturday does that mean ill be 8 months? My due date aint till February the 22nd so does this mean ill be 10 months when i have my baby? Im so confused HELP? First time mom here lol....

  • a pregnancy is suppose to be 10months.. 10x 4weeks = 40weeks = 10months.. duh!

  • a pregnancy goes 40weeks.

    which means you have 10months total.

  • h ok i thought a pregnancy lasted 9 months or a little more then that. i KNEW 32 WEEKS = 8 MONTHS (m.robertson811) But i was still confused about havin ghte baby at 36 weeks which is 9 months or at 40 weeks which is my due date.

  • first month doesnt count because of the two week time period of conception, so yes, its 10 months but most only think about the 9 months

  • due date is calculated with the 40weeks... but the due date is not always the actual day of birth. like i said, some babies want to come out earlier ;).. and some later... mine was born at 37weeks 6days

  • ok so some people have there baby around the begining of the 9th month and some people have then around the bagining of the 10 month...... As well as some others have there baby alot sooner.

  • yes, because EVERY pregnancy and EVERY woman as well as EVERY baby is different. in every book and on the internet you can read that a pregnancy usually goes 40 weeks (which are 10 months!!!).. but since every pregnancy is different the babies come out when ever they are ready.

    its acutally not that hard to understand. and i think your OB should have told you those things too. its their job :)
