I a 23 day cycle normal?

  • Whatever your regular cycle is, is normal. Mine occasonally runs as much as 45 days. If it's a new development or has other issues, you might want to mention it to your Gyno.

  • Yes and no. If you're trying to conceive you need to know how long your luteal phase is...the amount of time from ovulation to your period. If it's too short it will cause problems and you'll have to take steps to correct it. However, if you're ovulating early enough in your cycle that your luteal phase is about ten days then it's perfectly fine and completely normal. Temp and chart or use ovulation predictors to learn when you ovulate. If your luteal phase is short talk to your doctor and show him/her your charts if you go that route.
