Do home school kids get alot more attached to their mom? and do they have a harder time when associating with other kids?.

Been thinking about it with 5 yr old who is in pre-k and seems to be attached to me allready and some times thinks that only her rules count.

  • I think it does create a greater attachment, but not necessarily in a negative way. I think the key is to get them involved with other children as much as possible. Enroll them in gymnastics, or some other program, and play dates. Make sure they spend time with other adults without you around, that way they understand that you are not the only one that they have to mind.

I do not homeschool, but I did look into it.
