How much pizza do I need to order for my kids' birthday party?

We will have 25 to 30 people. About 5 will be preschool age, about 5 will be elementary school age, about 3 will be teenagers, and the rest are adults. Pizza will be the only food other than birthday cake. How much pizza would you order?

  • When we do parties like that we figure one large pizza will feed 5 people. So 30 people would mean 6 pizzas. There is ALWAYS left overs here and personally I rather have left overs then NOT enough.

  • Figure 2 slices per child and 3 for each teen/adult. So I would start with six large pizzas and order more if it seems to run low.
