Is there a place I can download music (Mp3's) that doesn't require a formal membership- more pay-as-you-go? I've looked into Napster and a few others- but they require a sign-up and a monthly membership. NOT INTERESTED. I have been using one site, but their selection is limited. Thanks!

Music downloads, MP3

  • I guess I should add that I download so infrequently, that pay I as I go is really more of a $$ saver for me.

  • We just do the monthly, it is much cheaper in the long run for us. We had napster but they had so many tech issues we moved to rhapsody.

  • I like limewire or bearshare

Answer by kabbot01 at 9:45 PM on Dec. 26, 2008

  • If you're an infrequent downloader, I would definitely suggest limewire. I also have napster and have no problems with it and they do a pay-as-you-go. I don't pay a monthly fee, just $.99 a song.
