does you uterus shrink during every period after you give birth ?

i heard that somewhere i was wondering if it was true

  • You ruterus may shrink a tiny bit because it is no longer full of blood but it wouod not be noticable. only time it changes is when preg and after.

  • It shrinks right after your baby is born over of a few months, but not "during every period." Mine is pretty much back to normal at 4 1/2 months postpartum.

  • it's supposed to shrink to normal size by 10 weeks. That's why you can have the IUD put in after 10 weeks. I'm at 10 weeks now, and I have to wait until my cycle comes back around to get it put in..
