cough drops are on my doctors "okay" list as well.. its not a long list - tylenol, sudafed, benadryl, mylanta, tums, cough drops. You can also check www.safefetus.com -- the give the FDA ratings for drugs crossing the placenta (and breast milk) and warnings.
As with anything ask your doctor if you're unsure. Sudafed, for instance, is NOT reccomended if you have high blood pressure.
