Does anyone know a way to get rid of them? They are all over my mom's window sills and she doesn't know how to get them off. She had them all around the house before and she sprayed lysol and that killed them but now they are back but only in her window sills. She put basil leaves in the window sill and that didn't help. She also put dryer sheets in the window and that helped a little but not much. Any suggestions?

  • We use an empty tuna can and fill it about 1/2 full of a sweet fruit juice or a pickle juice. Cover it with plastic wrap with holes punched in it. The bugs are drawn by the smell of the juice to the can, get in and drown or can't get out. It can take a few to several days to get them all.

  • White vinegar with a little dishsoap in a small bowl. It's the same concept and the sour flies will be gone!
