  • Could? Yeah, I could. $125 a week for the necessities, and half of what (if anything) is left over for savings. It would be tight, and there would be no luxuries, but its doable.

  • After all my bills are paid (biweekly) I live off $200 for gas and groceries...so um, yeah. I could live off that just fine!

  • After all the bills are paid?! YES!!! lol, but I am including carpayment and insurance in with the "bills".

    If you are talking only rent and utilities, then no. If you are talking everything I consider a bill, and just buy groceries/misc items with $500, then yes, that is what we do right now.

  • Yup,it can be done!I pay $80 every 2 wks on groceiries that feeds 2 adults and 1 toddler-who doesnt eat cheap.It can be done!

  • It is a month, not per week. We spend $250 per week just on groceries for a family of 6. So no, $500 per month for gas, groceries and other things would not work for us.
