Has anyone read "The Storyteller's Daughter"? How is the content as a story of Arabian Nights?

Has anyone read "The Storyteller's Daughter"? It is the 'Once upon a Time' series book about Arabian Nights. Is it comparable to the original? It is found in the Young Adult section of my library, does anyone know more about its content? Can I read it to my younger children as we introduce the 1001 tales?
