poop question - my son recently turned 1 and eats more adult food now.

some days he poops 3 or 4x a day. is that ok or does that mean i'm feeding him too much. i dont think i am. menu is typically: breakfast (1 egg and a slice of bread), lunch (3 or 4 pieces of brocolli and a mini bowl of pasta) and dinner (some baby carrots and a mini bowl of whatever dinner we have). TIA!

  • He's fine. Mine (17 months) does that too. Most other parents I know are trying to unconstipate their kids. You must be feeding him good healthy stuff if he's that regular. Good job.

  • My son does the same thing and the Dr. doesn't seem to think anything of it. He seems to be eating close to the same amount as your son, if not a little more. He lets us know when he's done or full and he's 45% for weight compared to other kids his age right now. Hope that helps. Good luck!

  • As long as he isn't straining or in pain, he's fine. Even if it's 6 times a day or once every 6 days.
