Did any of you?...

I cannot sit still. Part is I am nesting (I think, or going nutz). But when I am relaxing I am in pain. I am trying to relax now, and I am getting contractions and my back is killing me, along with my behind. It only gets worse when i lay down. I am more comfortable when I am up doing things. I still have contractions now and again. The contractions are not regular. My mom said she was like this when she was in labor with me. She felt better standing up and walking. I am 35 1/2 weeks. Does anyone else feel like this or felt like this prior pregnancies? Maybe a stupid question, but curious.

  • Go see a chiropractor. Much of the pain is due to your pelvis spreading and making room. A chiropractor can help your body handle this process a little better. I saw one during both pregnancies and was fortunate enough to even get adjustments during labor as well. They make a huge difference in your comfort level!

  • Not a stupid question you could be in labor. Maybe the best thing you can do right now to see if it's false labor or not by relaxing. That way you can see if the contractions get more frequent or stronger. And if either of those happen call your doctor and let he/she know whats happening. GL

  • Chriopractor is something I never tried before, and During both prior pregnancies, My hips hurt more than anything, they feel like they are going to spit right in half. Anon, thanks I am going to pack my bag, something I been kinda putting off. I have a pile of things, just never packed anything. Yeah yeah, what am I waiting for. I am just one that hates to call the L&D for every little thing. Instead I bother you ladies. I am not sure what is best? haha. Thanks.

  • It sounds like my labor with my first child, but it could be that it isn't. Yeah get your bag packed. If they get much stronger or start being regular or closer give your doctor a call. Good luck!
