Is there any way of finding out what jobs are hiring in your area besides driving around all day looking and asking?

  • sunday paper, or or a website like that... you an always find a company that helps you find jobs in your area. here we have one called AppleOne... im not sure if thats nation wide or what. but theres a start :) GL

  • yeah classifieds in the newspaper.. um depending on what your looking for you can get on their websites and look under careers.. umm goggle jobs in (city, state) and it'll bring up like online classifieds.. or craigslist

  • Depends on the kind of job really. I know most hospitals have websites that you can check their employment listings on... Not like or (your city name) but like the actual hospital website should have an area for employment. Other things you could just pull out the phone book and start calling :)

  • Newspaper ads,, talk to people you know about what they do and where they work. Let your friends and family and anyone you talk to, that you are looking for work. Ask them to let you know if there is an opening. Have your resume and references lined up and ready to go.
