how can i get my son to start walking

my son is 1 yr and 1 month but he is no where interested in walking he doesnt even crawl he just kinda drags himself how can i help him.

  • babies are all different he will walk when he is ready. try getting him a toy he can push and walk with.

  • the push toy should work well or introduce your child to children about a few months older and that might encourage the walking too.

  • When he is dragging himself, does he get his tummy off the ground? Does he use both arms and both legs equally? Does he pull himself up to stand? If any of these are "no", talk to his doctor.

  • When my daughter was 13months old, all she did was "scoot" across the floor, about a couples of weeks later, she just started pulling herself up and slowly took steps, while hold ing on to furniture.
