  • Hot tea with lemon and honey is classic. I also like to drink echinacea tea- you can get it in the tea aisle, it may have some properties that help flu and colds get better faster. I don't know that it does, but it does help me feel better. Another thing that I like to drink when I have a cold or flu is ginger ale.

  • something with electrolytes that will keep you well hydrated. Gatorade, for one is good. As always, water, and if all else fails 7up, but it doesnt have what you need to keep you healthy and help you get better, it also will not keep you hydrated as good.

  • for the flu--ginger ale...the ginger helps soothe your stomach. I use tea and sustain sport. The sustain sport has half the sugar of gatorade and twice the electrolytes. I make sure I always have this on hand for our family.
