  • All of the time!! My son has been sick so many times with colds and croup.... his pediatrician says it's normal in our area for a child to have 10 colds/year... my son for sure had that many. And he's had the stomach flu twice in his life.

  • Usually just once a year when it starts getting cold out around Nov, Dec or Jan my kids will get a little cold. They are 5, 3 and 18 months old.

  • Twice a year at most... My kids are 4 & 5 (and I have an infant) I can count on one hand the amount of times they have actually been sick.

  • I can count on one hand how many times my now 3 yo has been sick. Aside from when he was teething and would run a fever, he's been sick once a year.

  • Hardley ever! Maybe 3-4 times a year and never anything more serious than a stomach bug.

  • It daughter gets sick atleast 2-3x a yr. when the weather changes(she has asthma) and my 3 y.o. barely ever gets sick because he was breastfed...and I am a true believer that breastfed babies have a lower chance of getting sick than non-breastfed babies!

  • My 2 yo has been sick twice in his life, my 1 yo has never been sick, my 10 and 11 yo's haven't been sick in at least 18 months - but my 13 yo has had strep throat 5 times in the last 6 months, we are going to see an infectious diseases specialist next month about him (has has autism and doesn't tell us when he hurts, so it's hard to know)

  • once a year, they get something besides a cold, same as my 6 and 7 yo's. my kids have never had a fever reducer or an antibiotic or a vaccine.

  • my ds was breastfed for 17 months, healthy but he has this virus that keeps coming back to attack every few months like a mild fever for a couple day then a runny nose & cough etc. my doctor says the once a month cold for kids this age is normal he eats well, drinks alot of water we have all been sick here the last week also.
