How do I get my 2 year old to quit screaming?

  • Tell your little one that you will not listen to him/her unless he/she will stop screaming. Ignoring will work the most.

  • Screaming back definitely doesn't work, I know...I've tried it.  But, I let my daughter just scream at the top and get it (what ever frustrates her) out of her system.  Just like with my son, unless he's hungry, teething, or in pain, I just let him "CIO".
