i had a hystorectomy back in 2000. they took everything out of me other than one ovary. i would like to have one more baby, but not sure if there is anything doctors can do to help me or if it is even possible.

  • When you say they took everything but one ovary, what does that mean? Do you still have a uterus? (sorry, not understanding everything clearly)

  • If you don't have a uterus you can't carry a child. You may still have eggs if you are interested using a surrogate mother.

  • the only way to have another baby is for a doctor to take one of your eggs, fertilize it with a sperm and then place it in another women, called a surrogate, but the baby will still be 100% yours. : )
