how much is too much?

MY daughter is only 3months old and I read that she should be eating every 4 to 5hrs and 3 to 5fl ozs each. She is eating 4 or 5 fl. oz but it is from every 2 hrs or 3hrs. Only at night does she eat 6fl. oz every 8hrs (once or twice a nite) How much is TOO much for her to eat?

  • She won't eat if she isn't hungry. Every baby is different, and there is no too much or too little. You never know, next week her eating habits may drop dramatically, she may be going through a growth spurt right now where she needs to extra calories.

Whatever you do, do NOT keep food from your daughter because you think she is eating too much. Not unless you have a morbidly obese child and you and her doctor agree on putting her on a diet.

She will eat what she needs more, no less, so no worries!!
